We meet Filippa at the second-hand store FAB Studio in central Helsingborg – a shop focusing on designer labels. With her great interest in fashion as a driving force, Filippa has long recognized the advantages of shopping second-hand. She started buying second-hand clothes when she simply couldn't afford to shop new ones and quickly realized she was getting more fashion bang for her buck. Today, the biggest motivation is not to contribute to the frenzy of constantly producing new products in our consumer society, since there are so many nice things on the second-hand market. Filippa also enjoys sewing, an interest that grew out of the boredom during the Corona pandemic. In the beginning the results varied, but now Filippa has developed her sewing skills, which goes hand in hand with her interest in design and creating.

Filippa is well-known influencer on social media

Filippa is a cheerful and well-known face on social media with her 12,000 followers. She started her influencer career in 2015 when she began posting different outfits on Instagram for fun, and quickly realized that there was a lot of interest among the followers. The response was good, and many women were inspired by her style. Filippa originally studied to become a teacher, but now she has bet everything on her fashion dream. In addition to her job in the FAB Studio shop, she also works as a personal shopper, lecturer, course leader and influencer.

We ask what is most satisfying about being an influencer and Filippa quickly answers: all the love and encouragement she receives from the women who follow her and are inspired by her style. And the downsides of being a public figure? Filippa says that some unpleasant comments can’t be avoided on social media, but she still thinks she has been spared the worst, and that the response from people are predominantly positive.

We want to know what Filippa likes best about her red transparent Studio Eyewear frames, the fit is high on top of the list. In the year she's worn her glasses, she hasn't had to tighten them once, they still fit perfectly. And as soon as she puts them on, she feels beautiful, even without makeup. The Farfalle frame is eye-catching, and the design fits her face perfectly. Filippa fell in love with the Farfalle model because they are large and distinctive, something she had been looking for but had not found with other eyewear brands. In addition, the colour red is just "so her", Filippa says, and she has had this confirmed on several occasions when women have praised her eyewear and said how great she looks in red. Now Filippa has decided that she wants a second pair of frames, and her choice is the Studio Eyewear model Divine. A large frame with a lot of volume and a bit of 70s inspiration in beige with light blue details.

When we ask Filippa about what she dreams of for the future, she answers that she is very happy with her life as it is right now, but she still has visions of expanding the FAB Studio stores and doing more lectures, since she really loves meeting people.
